Nyasa Music Awards has activated this year’s festival with indications of pre-parties to take places across major cities in the country.
Organisers have said the parties will take place in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu in an effort to gunner up support for the annual festival in April.
Party goers will rave the nights to the sounds of South African Zanda Zakuza of the famed hit Skeleton Move.
They will also be DJ Flame and award-winning DJ Nathan Tunes on the desks dishing out music.
According to information provided, the pre-parties start at Chez Ntemba in Blantyre on March 29 before the excitement moves to Chez Ntemba in Lilongwe the following night.
On Sunday, the party goes to Queens in Mzuzu.
Nyasa Music Awards has since issued a call up of artists who want to be part of the opening acts to send their best recorded music for consideration.
NMA is looking for three artists. However, 10 will be shortlisted based on votes in the comment section of their official Facebook page.
Deadline for submission is March 17 with voting stating on the March 24 and the winner announced on April 2.
The winner will share stage with the likes of South Africa’s biggest artists AKA, Nasty C and Busiswa who are scheduled to perform at this year’s festivital set for Kamuzu Stadium on April 19 to 21
