Comedian Daliso Chaponda has promised "fire shows" at the comedy shows lined up for Malawi.
Chaponda came in the country on Wednesday ahead of his shoes slated for August 7 at Amaryllis Hotel and Bingu International Convention Center (BICC) on August 13, 2022.
Chaponda will take to the stage with Imran Yusuf.
Giving a heads up on what his jokes will comprise Chaponda said he will among others tackle controversial issues going on in the country.
Recently Malawi has been rocked with a corruption scandal going all the way up to the Vice President, State House, alleged abduction, demonstrations among others.
The comedian is known for being bold in his takes an example being when he joked about his father's former Minister of Agriculture being embroidered in maize corruption which he was later cleared of.
Despite that stance, he was quick to mention he will not tackle some areas in specifics to avoid what he described as "diluting the show."
The comedy show will also see musicians perform to spice up the event.
