Musician Lawi's 'Thirties' album is about life, expressions of a man who has been through both side of the coin; and shares the experiences.
Lawi says he is sharing guidance and directions to those that are coming of age and those who have seen life but have had a different route.
He said he made the album from a point of maturity and self awareness as it is a follow up to 'Sunset in the Sky' album which he did in his youth.
"We all did not know what the world would go through, we have experienced a very difficult time for the past three years and that was a time for introspection, reflection.
"I did a lot of writing and not only just music but also a book for the first time and these are just a few thoughts that I thought of sharing to the world.
"The album is more like a survival guide to life in the 21st century, in there you will find pieces that touch the heart, they will make you want to go back and introspect. those that are failing to find balance in the pandemic, its an inspiration."
He said the greater motivation for him was life itself as it is the greatest push. "I am always writing from a experiences and things that I see."
Lawi has released Kwa Pharaoh which is on Cordilia for streaming and purchase ahead of the Blantyre album launch taking place at Sunbird Mount Soche on the 6th of July.
