US star Travis Greene schedule forces Wendy to push back album launch

Gospel musician, Wendy Harawa has moved her 'Wandiyitana' album launch to Sunday, September 18 to accommodate US gospel singer, Travis Greene hectic schedule.

Initially it was set up for September 17 but it was noted Greene has another gig in Zambia on the same date.

Harawa management did not outright explained if they knew about the collision but  have come out to say they pushed back the date.

"Due to the confusion that has been there on dates Travis Greene, Wow Festival in Zambia and Myself have shifted the date of my Album Launch to Sunday September 18th."

In a video Greene confirms the dates and express excitement to jet into Malawi.

Commenting on the situation, music enthusiast, Kazado Kazado blamed management for speaking too soon.

He noted: "It practically means someone started communicating before confirmations with the relevant parties. This is very sad. We need to get well organised.

He also allayed fears the artist might perform using CDs due to logistics. "The fear is that we should not have the American artist performing using CDs or poor equipment due to some logistical challenges which can be avoided way ahead of time.

"We must learn to do the right things first time instead of relying on apologies," he said.

So far fans have shown content with the new date and have already started asking for tickets.
