TNM Super League outfit Dedza Dynamos will return to its base Dedza Stadium next weekend after completion of works on the facility.
The league rookies indicated Dedza Stadium as their home ground, but the facility was not in good shape to accommodate top flight league assignments.
This forced the team to opt for Balaka Stadium which they have been using all along, including their final match against Sable Farming on Wednesday.
But according to the fixture released by the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) for this weekend, the team will host Ekwendeni Hammers at their new home on Sunday.
Social media influencer Gerald Kampanikiza who is based in the district, joined efforts to restore the stadium's status.
According to the pictures circulating on social media, the facility has has its pitch and other facilities improved.
The pitch has green grass with bowsers seen watering the surface.
Dedza stand at position 13 with 12 points from 11 games.
The team was on a break for some weeks after their players were involved in a car accident from training.
Their first match after the incident was the 2-0 loss to Mafco last weekend.
The last time the team played at Dedza Stadium was last year.
Before, the stadium has been used by the now-defunct Masters Security FC in the Super League and Dedza Dynamos in their maiden league season.
