Revive School National Crusade says all is set for this year’s national prayers scheduled to take place between 2nd-13th June 2023 in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Balaka and Mzuzu.

The crusade’s National communication and programs director Andrew Mankhanamba said they expect President Lazarus Chakwera to attend alongside United States renowned preacher Dr. Kyle Martin.

Bishop Mankhanamba explained the prayers are important because Malawi has gone through tough times and needs hope.

"At the same time they will be therapeutic prayers; they will give psychosocial help to the people and bring the nation back to God."

He added the prayers will also address the spiritual root causes of the devastating times Malawi is going through and seek God's help for a change of seasons.

"Not just the seasonal kind of things, but issues of poverty, corruption, slow development in our country; we will seek God's grace and intervention to have them change."
