A 21 year old lad has won K52 million with a stake of just K500 on Premier Bet's live football betting.

The young lad, James Chaola said he made a bet of all straight wins on 20 games.

Chaola, who recently got 16 points in the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) from Bangula Secondary expressed excitement saying this is his biggest win ever.

"I have won K200,000's in the past but would just cash them out on Mpamba but this is a first. With a small bet I have won big monies."

Chaola said he wants to study clinical medicine but has not yet applied as he was waiting National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

He explained part of the money will be used to build a house for his elderly mother, pay for his siblings tertiary education and boost his uncle's business.

Chaola comes from Khembo village, Traditional Authority Mbenje in Nsanje.

Nawar Jarakji Commercial Director for Premier Bet said the company was thrilled to pay out such a huge sum in Malawi.

Jarakji emphasised it has been evident from Chaola's situation that small bet can bring about high results.

The Commercial Director urged people to be socially responsible when placing their bets.
