Nyasa Big Bullets have said they intend to make strides on the international stage after winning the local league for the fourth time consecutively.

The win on Saturday made the club 16 time league winners with Airtel Top 8 Cup to make a treble.

Chief Executive Officer for the club, Sugzo Nyirenda said they have achieved on the local front and want to show their prowess on the international stage.

"We have done all that is to be done and won everything worth winning on the local scene.

"Starting next season our sight is set on international level.

We have a good plan to mitigate this. We will be announcing our plans at the beginning of the season," Nyirenda said.

The CEO acknowledged their previous campaigns have not been up to par: " At the international level we are still lagging behind.

"We know this is a big challenge."

The people's team have been eliminated out of Caf Champions League in the preliminary stages four consecutive times.

Nyirenda hinted on signing international players to match their counterparts.

He said plans are in the pipeline and they will be announced soon.

Head Coach, Kalitso Pasuwa acknowledged they need the international players as they cannot be playing against foreign clubs.
