Malawi national football team forward, Gabadinho Mhango returned to his South African DSTV Premiership side, Amazulu FC with a 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
Mhango has been out of the team for two consecutive games due to suspension after accumulating two yellow cards in the previous matches.
Donning his usual jersey number 11, Mhango made the first eleven and played the whole match.
He created some chances, but was unlucky not to extend his three-goal tally from this match.
The loss means Amazulu have drifted to position six on the log table, with 11 points from eight games.
Mamelodi now top the table with 19 points from nine games, followed by Mhango’s former club, Orlando Pirates at 14 points from eight games.
Richards Bay also have 14 points and have played similar games at eight with Royal AM and Golden Arrows who have 13 and 11 points each respectively.
