Silver Strikers and the Malawi national football team forward, Stain Davie is in Botswana to try his luck at Township Rollers FC.
According to a statement from the Bankers, the striker left the country on Saturday for assessment.
"Davie, who is recuperating from an injury will firstly go through a medical assessment before he is technically appraised. He will be in the Tswana land for three weeks. We at the club wish him all the best," reads the statement.
It is believed that the former TN Stars player was spotted by Rollers FC at the COSAFA Cup in South Africa this year, where the Flames bowed out in group stages.
He was also part of the Flames squad to the AFCON finals in Cameroon this year after being called to fill out the gap following the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the camp.
Meanwhile, the bankers have indicated that they have received inquiries for three more of their players whose information they are yet to divulge.
While the departure of the striker would be good news to the player, Silver Strikers will suffer a heavy blow especially at this time when they are struggling in the TNM Super League.
The Bankers have not been in form this season up to an extent that they bowed out of the FDH Cup which they won last year.
They have even fired Zambian coach, Daniel Kabwe and promoted in interim basis Leo Mpulula from the Reserve side.
