Malawian Amapiano landlord Zeze Kingston is said to have popped the big question to his fiance Dorothy Shonga formerly 'Cash Madam'.

The 'Chule' hit maker and his socialite girlfriend took the Internet by storm over their age disparities.

On Thursday morning Dorothy broke the news of their engagement: "Wat a birthday present. I said yes. “It’s not about our fans but you and me, that’s why I've chosen to drive away from home and propose to you where there’s just me and you, nature and God”. He said with a diamond ring."

"God thank you for all my answered prayers. Happy birthday to me," Shonga wrote on her Facebook page.

Kingston has not said anything about the engagement, but he posted a live video in which he is seen singing 'Ndathera Pano' with Dorothy by his side.

Their whirlwind romance took people by surprise but some close to her said the media talk had no impact on their relationship as they flourish on attentions as celebrities.

No dates of the wedding have been given out but this is expected to be one of the lavish ones of the year.
