FDH recognises long serving employees

Just days after FDH Financial Holdings awarded best employees for the year 2021, long serving individuals have also been recognised with monetary awards.

The programme, which has been running for some years, aims at appreciating the employees that have contributed to the growth of the company for over ten years.

This year, the company has awarded certificates and prizes to 64 employees who have served the company for up to 20 years.

Among the 64, one has served 20 years and received K200,000, six have worked for 15 years and got K150,000 each, while 57 pocketed K100,000 each for serving the company 10 years.

Presenting the awards on Friday, FDH Group Head of Human Resources, Chrispin Chikwama, said they have always been committed to employee development and employee welfare hence running several appreciation initiatives.

“The Long Service Awards are part of our initiatives that focus on employee development because we celebrate and appreciate the contribution that employees are making to the company. We love to see our employees indeed grow with us and Long Service Awards manifest our passion towards this growth,” Chikwama said.

One of the awardees, Mwayi Mkandawire, who has worked under FDH Bank Plc for 10 years said that she feels honoured to be rewarded.

“It feels great to be part of this bank, I am super excited about this achievement,” Mkandawire said

Last week, Jenda Agency officer, Bartwell Kawerenga was named the best employee.
