Mighty Mukuru Wanderers new Technical Director, Mark Harrison who arrived on Tuesday, October 4 has been brought in on a mission to transform the club into a  local and international trophies winning force.

Secretary to Mighty Wanderers Board, Chancy Gondwe explaining the role Harrison will play said: "What does it mean? Is Harrison TD or Head Coach?

"We are happy to have him. He will have a plain-check, whichever player he want, whether outside the country, whichever player that he thinks that will add value to the team.

"We are at his disposal as a company we will support him as long as he brings to Wanderers result we are expecting,” Gondwe said.

FIFA indicates a Technical Director heads the Technical Directorate of the Football Association where they are mandated to formulate guidelines, strategies and policies for the training and the technical development of coaches.

The TD provides advice to the Executive Council on coaching and technical development matters in general among others duties.

He is also required to build the capacity of the of Technical Directorate of the Association that will include but not limited to the following departments; Coach Education, Referee Education, Talent Identification, Performance Analysis, Technical Studies and Video Analysis, Health and Nutrition, Sports Psychology, Strength and Conditioning and Sports Medicine.

Harrison has two professional trophies, one as coach of the month in Botswana and league trophy with Township Rollers.

He replaces veteran coach Eddington Ng'onamo as TD.
